Day Two – Private food market & cooking class
Meet our local, personable, English-speaking cooking instructor.
Discover with her the beautiful and non-tourist food market of Sant Antoni, one of the largest in Barcelona. Set in a 19thcentury cast-iron building, it is a true paradise for foodies!
Then, it´s a 15-minute walk to our teacher´s private home, a cozy apartment that preserves the charm of the 19th century Catalan architecture. There, at her fully-equipped kitchen, you will prepare a full lunch, made using high quality, seasonal, fresh, local ingredients.
When food is ready, you can dig in at the rustic wood table and then head outside to the sunny terrace for a desert. Relax and chat, have a bite while you’re cooking, and enjoy what you have cooked, accompanied by fine regional wine.
After lunch, enjoy a free afternoon and dinner on your own.
