One of Andalusia’s best-known towns is Marbella, on the Costa del Sol. Its recent history portrays it as one of the Mediterranean’s premier holiday locations, a sort of sanctuary for the rich and famous, but you may be surprised to know that there’s a great deal more to be discovered in this town… Its history is long, dating back to prehistoric times, so it is full of fascinating architecture and sites; the fabulous luxury that seeps from the coastline is magically combined with the appeal of the winding backstreets of the Old Town.

As for conventional entertainment, Marbella has it all, but we propose something a little different: how about some time off for a private cooking class at a private home in a luxury complex on the Costa del Sol, with large tropical gardens and fountains…  Your host and instructor has made a career of transmitting her passion for healthy food. Her studies and years of travel and experience have made her an expert in Mediterranean cuisine, and she combines teaching with writing and radio and TV appearances that have made her well known in the area.

Your cooking experience will start at the colorful Marbella food market where, in the company of our cooking teacher,  you will learn the difference between wild and farm-raised fish and how to choose fresh fish and seafood.

You will then move to our instructor´s private home, where you will be preparing a healthy Mediterranean Andalusian meal in a laidback and fun atmosphere. Best of all, when you’re finished with the cooking, sit down to indulge in your mouth-watering creations with some fine Spanish wine.
